Since I was twelve years old- my dad gave me his old camera (a Minolta srt 101). I used to hand roll and develop my own b&w film in my parents' basement. I was fascinated and hooked for life. I studied photography at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. Later I went on to practice photojournalism for state Government. I was the personal photographer to the Attorney General. In this position, I photographed the daily activities of the Attorney General and the House of Representatives meanwhile producing many shoots for the Governor. My specialty is weddings I love that each wedding is different and brings with it new challenges and new opportunities for creative expressions. Story telling through photography is my biggest passion and I feel that is why wedding imagery is my favorite.

Rob is a wedding and portraiture photographer residing in Rochester, NY, however, he shoots all over western and central NY. He's married to a wonderful and talented woman, and graced with a bright and conscientious daughter who share's his playful (often corny or silly) sense of humor. His wedding photography style is a balance of photojournalism and portraiture (both causal and creative). He loves to craft photographic art, but never loses sight that he's primarily present to capture the many naturally occurring moments of a wedding day. Very often the two converge, and that's especially rewarding to him. He considers it a privilege to be given the responsibility of authentically documenting the unique story of a couple and their loved ones on one of the happiest days of their lives. Rob knows wedding photography to be a deeply fulfilling skilled discipline, and one that he approaches with fresh vigor and earnest intent each and every time. He truly enjoys meeting and working with couples from all walks of life.
